I had to install of satisfactory from steam I deleted one in this happened

could you rephrase what you wrote in the title? that doesn't make any sense
I reinstalled the windows and I had satisfactory installed on a Second drive and then recently I installed it on my main drive so the files were both on my secondary drive and my main drive and when I deleted the files on my second drive this happened
I guess that process left an invalid library entry, either repair it with steam's tools or ignore it if the other Steam entry is working fine
Is it possible to remove it from the mod loader because when I try playing the game it gives me an error
what error? send a screenshot of it
the mod loader looks at steam and epic records to make those lists so you will have to fix it there
if you hover over the entry it should have some more info

@goldeyegold the above message is not relevant to you, it's relevant to the random person who hopped into this thread, disregard
Ohh good that gave me a freaking heart attack
Also it says can't get installation information
was it previously a steam install? you will have to fix it on steam's side, I don't know how to do that
I've already tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it that doesn't work i've tried moving it and that doesn't work either I guess I'll have to look it up somewhere else
look in your steam settings, do you still have that other drive listed as a library location?
yes
I think the easiest fix would be to just copy the files back where it expects them
I would essentially have two copies of the game but that's the only solution I would think that would work
I guess try uninstalling the game, removing both your library folders, then adding them both back and seeing if steam sees a game already present in either one of them?
ok
I tried uninstalling it from One drive and installing it to the other drive same thing still happens but instead of saying my G drive it says my C drive I tried fully uninstalling it and it just says both install locations have an error the only thing that seems to fix it is to literally have satisfactory on my C drive and my G drive at once
@Robb (Now™) Should I mark this as solved even though it's kind of not but I do have a solution to remove the error
I guess, yeah... message back here later if you figure out a better fix I guess
Solution
ok
