Dress Shirt Fit Check
Feels so weird to be doing this - literally the first time in my entire life I've taken a picture to illustrate what I'm wearing and am sharing with you all. 🤣
Recently lost around 30 lbs and trying a slim fit dress shirt for the first time in my life. Wife gave me two thumbs up but has had 12 years for me to lower her expectations.😉 Does this fit OK? Shoulders seem good to me, neck is comfortable. I "think" my chest is actually too small for it though, as the chest pocket seems to be wrapping under my arm a bit? Is this a body proportions issue (work on my bench?) or is the sizing off? Or maybe unavoidable with slim fit shirts?

Also....if I took the pictures wrong let me know. I have literally no idea what I am doing
Looks good for a slim fit. You might want to move the buttons on the cuffs. Those look really loose to me
Thanks all. Cuffs did have a weird crease that made them jur out so will see how they look after washing, but I'll take a look. Otherwise good? Chest pocket issue is not a problem?
Nope. It might look a little better closer to the center, but tbh that might be a problem with the pattern and not the fit. Like they designed it sitting further out. But it for sure doesn't look bad
also if you're wearing a jacket over it it's a nonstarter
Fair point. I am planning a jacket or vest in most scenarios but would like the flexibility to go without.
