The 9/15/24 Neoforge iris shaders on curseforge keeps making my game crash. how do I fix it?

How to find crash reports and logs
It is recommended to upload your logs to https://mclo.gs then paste the link into Discord to automatically censor potentially sensitive information and help us diagnose issues more efficiently. However, you may also drag and drop the file directly into Discord.
Logs can be found in the logs folder inside your .minecraft directory. We are probably interested in the one named latest.log.
Crash reports can be found in the crash-reports folder inside your .minecraft directory. We are probably interested in the most recently created one.

We need the latest.log not the debug log it is suggested t upload it to https://mclo.gs for safety as the latest.log has some private info in it and mclo.gs blocks that from being seen

they shouldn't be. 1.21.1 is the same as 1.21 save for a small server-side fix
you cannot add 1.21.1 to 1.21 profile, it will not let you

The solution is updating your instance to 1.21.1
And using the latest betas of sodium and Iris

I just had to make an entire different folder in curseforge with all the same mods but the updated 1.21.1 version
its a server that is staying on 1.21
but anyway, nvm
1.21.1 clients can join 1.21 servers
