Belts shifting and chewing up the edges

Hello everyone, thanks in advance for any help and suggestions. I have had my V-core 3.1 for a couple of years now, but recently the belts began to shift up during printing and then binding up the motors causing massive layer shifts. the first time i discovered it, it had been happening for awhile but i missed it. I re-belted my printer and now its happening again, but its only been a couple of months. This time its on the other belt on the other side of the printer. I can see it starting to chew up the belt and have watched it shift and bind during homing, and can pretty regularly get it to happen again. Does anyone know why this might be happening and how i can fix it? Thanks!

Check the idlers, sounds like the mounting of some of them may be wonky. Or the belt it stretched asymmetrically

thanks, i did tighten that side belt about a half turn, lets see if that fixes it.
