Payments gateway
Hi ,
I would like to inquire about the possibility of integrating with any other payment gateway. Will the method be complicated?

Hi @Azzam. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base. :wave:

Wasp currently supports Stripe for payment gateway integration. The process involves a few handoffs and redirects, and once a user pays, the database needs updating and the client. Debugging this process can be done by following the guide provided in the Open SaaS documentation and running the Stripe CLI during testing. Open SaaS is a SaaS boilerplate template built with Wasp, and the guide can be found here (https://docs.opensaas.sh/guides/stripe-testing/).
As for integrating with other payment gateways, there isn't enough information provided in the knowledge sources to give a confident answer. The complexity of the method would likely depend on the specific payment gateway you're looking to integrate with. It's recommended to refer to the documentation of the specific payment gateway for more detailed instructions.

Sorry @Azzam, I seem to be having a bit of trouble. Don't worry though, I've pinged my support and they will try to fix me up! :technologist:
Perhaps try again in 15mins?
@Vinny (@Wasp) one for you 🙂
Currently we have Stripe and LemonSqueezy integrated in Open SaaS. New ones should follow the existing implementation, but I'll let Vinny answer in more detail.
Hey Azzam. Which payment provider are you thinking of implementing?
Open SaaS is just a boilerplate starter, so you can use the stripe or lemon squeezy implementation as an example, and implement your preferred provider that way.
But, yes, you should be able to implement just about any payment provider, as Open SaaS/Wasp is just a framework built on top of React and NodeJS
