How to use Iris with Distant Horizons
To use mods such as Iris and Distant Horizons, you must install a mod loader. Iris is available for the Fabric mod loader (recommended) as well as NeoForge on 1.21. There is also a 1.20.1 Forge alpha available in https://discord.com/channels/774352792659820594/883067831485366304/1268783380015878144. Once you have one of these mod loaders installed, put the following mods in the mods folder inside your .minecraft client directory:
Sodium: https://modrinth.com/mod/sodium/versions
Iris: https://modrinth.com/mod/iris/versions
Distant Horizons: https://modrinth.com/mod/distanthorizons/versions

Version compatibility info:
- Iris 1.7 or newer required.
- Iris 1.7 only works with Distant Horizons 2.1.
- Distant Horizons 2.2 only works with Iris 1.8.
- There is an Iris 1.8 alpha for 1.20.1 available in https://discord.com/channels/774352792659820594/883067831485366304/1268783422139142247
- 1.20.4 and 1.20.6 do not have any Iris 1.8 builds; you must use Distant Horizons 2.1 for these Minecraft versions

any others will cause the LODs to not render
yep have bliss from exactly that link
what isn't working though exactly
i load a new world and in chat dh tells me that this shader pack isnt suported and that chunks wont be loaded
tells me the same when i disable shaders
i tried a few things and each time i switch on shaders it just shuts down dh idk
