how to add mods
Are you using the official minecraft launcher?

Then just download the mod you want and put it into the

Shaders are mostly independent of the mc version, so that shader should also work on 1.21.1
It probably just hasn't been marked as compatible on modrinth

I'd recommend using a custom launcher like Modrinth App, or Prism Launcher
They'll handle the installation of that stuff automatically

Use that and select the bliss file

Now if you don’t see bliss on the page but it says 1 installed at the top then it worked

how do i get dh on prism
Mods tab -> download mods then search for distant horizons

if you can't add a microsoft account to prism, most often it's caused by one of two things:
- microsoft considers your account underage: log into microsoft on https://account.microsoft.com/account/Account > click your profile icon at the top-right > click "My profile" > change your birthday to over 21 years ago; you might need to wait for a bit after that
- not using an email & password to log in: you must use email and password to log into your microsoft account. if you don't get the option to, sign in to https://account.live.com/proofs/manage/additional and add a password as a way to sign in

i cant help you any more than salamando (the pi guy) is doing. i know nothing about prism
