Using Open SaaS with V0.dev (shaden UI)
I've set up Open SaaS for my project on site-engineer.com.au and am now focusing on building the front end. Since I'm not a front-end developer and want to get the MVP out quickly, I'm looking into using V0.dev for designing my pages, specifically within the Open SaaS template. Has anyone here used V0.dev with the Open SaaS template for rapid front-end development? I'd appreciate any tips or insights on how to best approach this while ensuring a professional and cohesive look for my site. Thanks in advance!

Hi @khb. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

Hmm, I don't know enough to give you a confident answer yet. The knowledge sources provided do not contain any specific information about using V0.dev with the Open SaaS template in Wasp. However, Wasp is designed to work well with React and it doesn't interfere much with your UI, so it's likely that you can use V0.dev or any other React-based UI library or tool with some tweaking.
For modifying the styling of the Open SaaS template, you might find it helpful to understand that all the Admin Dashboard code is in
src/client/admin
source (https://discord.com/channels/686873244791210014/1220792321805647872). Also, Open SaaS uses Tailwind CSS for styling, so you might want to check if V0.dev supports Tailwind CSS or if you can integrate it source (https://discord.com/channels/686873244791210014/1204153431019753512).
For more specific guidance, I would recommend reaching out to the Wasp community or the V0.dev support. You can also check out the Wasp documentation (https://wasp-lang.dev/docs) for more information on how to work with Wasp.

@miho Look at this, people sharing your recipes between each other. Great success!
Bootleg docs are the best docs π
Hey team, do you have plans to support ShadCN natively? Because I have done two WASP projects lately using v0 and it is a little bit cumbersome going through all that, specially if you keep adding new components. Thank you!
We have plans to add support for tsconfig alises in the future, so the ShadCN would be complete π
Awesome, that's great for newbies like me. Thanks π
I think wasp is amazing cant recommend it enough
Wohooo @khb, you just became a Waspeteer level 2!
So glad to hear! What was most useful? π
As someone who has not much experience coding, however i have experience in another industry (mechanical engineering) it was really good was for me to learn skills, then we i needed to do harder things like use actions, the documentation was amazing at helping me to do that. I also think the documentation on how to set up all the api keys was invaluable. Excited to show the first version of my mechanical engineering caculation off for some constructive feedback soon!!! ππͺπͺ
