I downgraded which I thought would allow me to use mods
update SMM
But as long as you still have the mods folder in the FactoryGames folder you can launch Satisfactory straight from Steam and mods will be there - assuming it doesnt try to update it.
how do I update it? I just downloaded it like an hour ago
do you still have the Mods folder in the FactoryGame folder?
ie did you never delete it?
Ive never used mods before
>smm

Ok I got it working by reupdating to 1.0 and then closing steam completely and then redoing the downgrade
however now the smm is only showing 5 mods as compatible which i dont get
we marked all mods incompatible to avoid confusing people who want to play 1.0. you will have to ignore compatibility warnings to work with a downgraded copy
Yeah i thought as much but then ran into the steam auto updating problem
i mean not 100% solved i still cant use mods 😦
guess ill give up for now
