mod manager lists 2 copies of S. installed. 1 'normal', 1 forced to lower case
previously had S. installed via steam (1.0) and epic (0.8) , removed mod folder from Steam (never installed on epic). after uninstalling the 0.8 version from Epic, started getting this error:
2 Satisfactory installs were found, but all of them point to folders that don't exist.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Satisfactory"
"c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Satisfactory"

If you're trying to launch the game without mods:
1.0 has renamed the game target, preventing SMM from being able to automatically uninstall mods for you.
1. To manually turn off mods, delete the FactoryGame/Mods
folder from your game install directory manually. Here's how to find the game install directory: https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#Files_GameInstall
- Even after you do this, SMM still won't work, and you will still get the "folder that does not exist" error message! You have to launch the game from Epic/Steam for now. Close SMM and don't use it again until we announce that mods are updated.
- If you have issues launching the game after this, also delete the FactoryGame/Plugins
folder, then verify your game files to restore it: https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#_how_do_i_verify_my_game_files
- If you're still having issues, post the next error you get!as the bot says, this issue is not QoL related, it's because there are corrupted installs detected and the mod manager doesn't work in 1.0
it'll be fixed once mods are updated
will we have anything to do on smm or will it update itself?
It will auto-update
the bug is that the mod manager is finding a folder/directory called "Steam" , which is correct, AND it's finding one named "steam" which does not exist, and has never existed
That's been the case for a long time now, because Steam sometimes doesn't list the default library and sometimes it does. It doesn't cause any issue though, and SMM v3 properly treats the two paths as the same one
