DistantHorizons on paper server
Hello,
I have a paper 1.21.1 server (plugins) and I'm trying to put DistantHorizons on it but it doesn't work.
I use this plugin: https://github.com/Jckf/DH-Support/releases
So I have several questions:
- Do I just need to put this plugin on the server side and have the DistantHorizons mod on the client side for it to work?
- Is the purpose of the plugin to load LODs automatically?
At the moment, the plugin doesn't change anything, I have to load the chunks first, nothing loads automatically.

the fix is to set "disable instanced rendering" to false in dh's settings under advanced, graphics, generic rendering

Hello :) Which version of Distant Horizons do you have installed on your client, and can you show me the information displayed in-game when you press F3?

So you have a version of DH from CurseForge or Modrinth?
It's from modrinth, the latest one
in Alpha
That will be your issue :) Go to #links-n-downloads and grab the latest nightly build for your version of Minecraft
Server support hasn't made it to a proper release yet

That one's new to me, and unlikely to be related to the server. Maybe someone else here can help you with that.

try this
if it happens again or rendering is still broken, restart the game
if it happens immediately after restarting, delete your config file
/config
To edit the config, press the button next to the FOV slider to edit the config.
The config file found in .minecraft/config/DistantHorizons.toml
Is DH Rendering in DH config ?
pause menu -> options -> dh logo to the left of the fov bar
then toggle "enable rendering" off and back on
It won't reactivate when my shaders are activated and the error persists.
However, even when deactivating my shaders, without the error and with rendering enabled, I'm still stuck like this :
LOD Render distance of 512 in client and server
Ok seems to work now
I'll look for the error with the shader
what shader are you using?
it seems DH 2.3 has a problem with shaders. i can reproduce the issue

I am using Bliss with nightly, but not the absolute latest one
Gf downloaded yesterday's nightly and crashed with Bliss
So something might have changed some time during the weekend or early this week
