Suede Jacketish shirt

My father gave me this shirt that he bought around 30 years ago in Rome, and I love it. But i've never wore suede before and don't know how to pair it with the rest of the outfit. This is how I wore it today, but im not sure about black t-shirt and silver watch Any tips?
