kinematics/aod

if i solve by drawing v-t graph and check the nature of the slope then acceleration comes out to be decreasing (for magnitude of accel we make rightward parabola in v-t graph) but solving by normal differentiation gives acceleration as constant. Can someone pls explain why im getting different answers and which one is correct?
