How does buying a suit from Suitsupply work?
Looking for an off-the-rack suit and hoping someone else who's been there before might know the answer to this. I'm a bit confused about the options on the website.
Am I supposed to go in to check fitting, order online, have it delivered to the store, and then set up another pick-up appointment? Or would I be able to set up a 1-hour suit appointment and walk out with a suit the same day (if, hypothetically, minimal/no alterations are needed)?
TIA!

If you have a store nearby it's probably your best bet. You can go and try and buy a suit and walk out with it, but if it needs alterations they can do them in store. You'd just have to go pick it up at a later date.
very unlikely you wouldn't need alterations, I would set my expectation to pick it up later
Thanks to both of you :)
I do indeed live near one. I have a shorter time frame that I would normally give myself — certainly enough for alterations, but not enough in case of any shipping issues. Was just afraid I'd go in and be asked to place an order online
It’s been a few years now but I went in-store for the fitting, needed minor alterations (hemming the pants only I believe?) and they shipped it to me once the alterations were complete so I didn’t need to return for pick up either. I had enough time prior but they offered to expedite shipping if needed
