Iris 1.8.0 beta 4 crashes when I turn on any shaders
I attempted to turn on a shaders with distant horizons (DH) on, then the game crashed, but I noticed that DH is not the problem but Iris itself, since game crashed even with DH uninstalled (shaders only)
I use Iris 1.8.0 beta 4, Sodium 0.6.x beta 2, latest Indium and Fabric API cause i needed them for DH to run, also mc version is 1.21.1
Here's the crash report:

Remove Indium
Sodium natively supports FRAPI now making Indium unnecessary and possibly cause issues
i will try removing it
nope, still crashing
it doesnt work for any shaders, even without DH installed / having a shader without DH support
its iris problem :flooshed:
I can't reproduce the issue https://mclo.gs/2XfbsVT
I think your graphics driver might be a bit outdated. Can you try updating it?
It's because they're using an outdated version of Iris
Probably they acquired some other version of Iris in the Discord server which also describes itself as "beta 4"
i updated the drivers and still crashers, anyways if drivers were the problem they wouldn't even let me launch any game
.
Btw that’s not true. Drivers can cause issues in certain scenarios
so do i wait for shaders to update or iris itself ahahah
sorry but i'm a french baguette so my english is way too bad
it's already updated
you're just using the wrong file
okay i will redownload iris beta 4 and
Solution
replace Iris with this one
