I hate plaid
I would fuck Buffalo, Black Watch and vanilla. Marry Glen check. Kill the rest. Dig up tattersall and burn the corpse.

Plaid is great. Personally haven't found a way to wear it yet - before I was into fashion I only wore slim plaid flannels and I haven't shaken that association

Recently I’ve been inspired by some people I randomly saw mixing plaid flannels with other patterns. I don’t think they were giving it any thought but I enjoyed the clash

I love plaid/tartans and I have owned multiple at every single point of my adult life. For anyone who wants to know more about the history: the Articles of Interest podcast episode on plaid is well worth listening to.

i really like that britpunk/vivienne westwood context for plaid and how harajuku has appropriated and recontextualized it
foremost example in my head is the influence that those stereotypical bright plaid punk bondage pants have on japanese fashion, they dont use plaid toooo often but maris rock is a decent example

i have three other, smaller plaids that i wear more as shirts but i’ve gained a little weight and they’re kinda hard to button atm
