Yes it is how you normally change the amount of lods you want

it wont be the same as in the overworld?
in my overworld i want it to be 256
but in nether lower
Yea so just change 256 to 128 or whatever you want it when you are in the nether
It's not possible to set multiple render distances, one for each dimension
