how does the flat earth model explain the fact that the planets are clearly spherical objects?
Amateur telescope footage on YouTube shows that the planets are spheres, the sphere of Saturn can be seen casting a show on its ring, rocks in space are seen casting shadows on the planets etc.

Firstly, there is no flat earth model.
Secondly, flat earth is about earth, not planets in the sky.
Lastly, planets or any other celestial objects in the sky have no correlation with the surface feature of the earth.
earth isn’t a planet.
that was easy
also, rocks up above your head?
I wouldn’t be so sure about that
1. they are no "clearly" spherical.
There is no parallax to determine that by simply looking.
2. Even if they were spheres it does not logically follow earth is also a sphere.
For that to be logical association to put the earth in the "planet" category , there would need to be something similar observed.
There isn't.
