Satisfactory 1.0 cannot load update 8 save with mods uninstalled
I uninstalled the game and reinstalled, no luck, game crashes once the save is loaded, crash diagnostic attached

sounds like you'll have to go with option 1 then, because one of the mods (likely smart) produced a corrupted vanilla building

It appears your crash was generated from a copy of the game that does not have mods installed. We likely can't help with it. Please use the Unreal crash reporter dialog to report the error the game developers and/or report it on the official discord and QA site.

otherwise, wait for the mods that added the buildings to be updated
but I don't use mods that add new building, if I remember correctly I had S.M.A.R.T, just fly and stuff like that

TBH it's worth starting to new save,. Lot of new stuff added.
At least you can play that until mods update and you can try loading it again with them
I restarted but it's just that is was my mega base, train spiral, tower higher than the space elevator that made everything, miracle of efficiency, I wanted to look at it because I forgot stuff, guess I won't

Just put it aside and wait for mods to update. Once they work again on 1.0 it might load again
