Detecting 2 instalations not solved

My mod manager on one computer is detecting 2 install using the same location and refusing to do anything, the only i am able to do is shut it down due the error message that you can't close. I already first removed satisfactory(then i get an error it is not installed) and installed it again. Removing mod manager and installing it again is not helping either. It started doing this after a forced update of windows. (the mod manager was open at the time) The weird part is that the updated mod manager is still wotking as it should with the same install locations on a different computer. In short I know mods are not working. On one computer i am able to check for updates and only get a message (saying mods are not working). This I interpret working as intended> On another computer with the same installment patth even after clean install of everything I get an error that i am unable to close telling me the game is installed twice, showing me the paths, but saying it is unable to find anything. The fact I am unable to close that error and not able to check for update means it is not working. If it is only the update I would not be able to check for updates on the computer where I consider the SMM to be working as intended.(I just have to wait for the mods to catch up in order to use them.) If i am not able to check and update the mods because of that error how is it ever going to work? ps: thank you for marking the previous post solved when it wasn't.

You're going to have to wait untill there is a NEW version of SMM. 1.0 broke it. So your choices are 1. Play without Mods. 2. Manually rollback to 0.8 and play with mods. 3. Don't play Satisfactory until SMM gets updated.

Thank you for the clear answer. But i would wait to mark this solved until that version is available (it gets confusing if something is marked as solved but not working). Also tyhank you for the rollback links. edit: I added a lightbulb to mark the links that there is a temprorary solution. Again thank you.
