1 Invalid Satisfactory Install found
Followed step by step posted for new 1.0 update. SMM still causes issues with online multiplayer connections.

FactoryGame folder?
wont that remove the save
This is what is in that folder, Mods is empty
back up the save and then delete the folder, place the save back in after booting the game once.
i just assumed people were trying to load old saves XD

thats what i deleteed.
game crashed until i deleted that folder
that's your game save files and has nothing to do with installed mods
wonder what in there would have been crashing you

all good, many people were saying that folder earlier, still not sure why
if you're trying to launch a backup copy, it can't play multiplayer because they have to run disconnected from steam/EGS... although a tricked steam copy might still work (see the docs on downloading old versions)
I'm actually trying to join another person's fresh start on 1.0 but it won't allow me to join
using a session ID too
ah, then you should go to the official discord since it isn't mod related any more
the game seems to be working other than that now..... so maybe not a mod thing
