Multiple usage values being presented in different places

Hi! I'd like to ask why the 'Current usage' differs so much from the 'Estimated usage'. I only have one project in my account. There seems to be four values at play. I color coded them in the images for reference: 1. 🟥 Account > Project Usage > Current Usage: $13.41 (matches Usage by Project right below) 2. 🟦 Account > Project Usage > Usage by Project > Estimated: $14.40 (matches estimated usage in Dashboard > Observability > Project usage) 3. :green_square_but_square: Account > Project Usage > Estimated Bill: $9.40 (this has the $5 Hobby plan fee waived, I get it) 4. 🟪 Dashboard > Observability > Project usage > Current usage: $3.99 (???) I can't understand where the last value comes from. It looks to me the 'Current usage' inside the project's dashboard resets on a different day (maybe the first of each month), although it says clearly that it's for the current billing cycle. This does not seem right. Mine resets at the 12th each month (I'm almost at the end of it). The multitude of presented values, summed up with the $5 included usage and the waived $5 plan hobby fee (for which there's no clear indication other than in the Bill Breakdown) makes it tricky to know how much I'm gonna be charged at the end. I get that it's the Estimated Bill value, but this is not at all clear by virtue of the fact that there's a discount embedded there, and my actual usage is higher than that. (Perhaps this would be more suited for #🤗|feedback?) Some clear indication of what each value is based on would be appreciated!

The current usage is where you sit right this moment. The estimated is a calculated value based on your current usage and is only that, an estimate The difference between the $14.40 and the $9.40 estimate is the cost of your hobby plan, which includes $5 of usage, so, $14.40-$5.00=$9.40 The first screenshot is your entire billing period. The second screenshot only shows the last 7 days, indicated by the little drop-down above the current usage

Thanks, got this part! 🙂 Ah. It would make sense if it was for the last 7 days, however, I just tried changing the dropdown value and nothing changed in the Usage panel

It seems to be a sum of the individual resource values in some period, however, I don't see how it's relevant to show that since it doesn't reflect what will be really charged Also, it says "for the current billing period" right above which doesn't seem to be accurate at all :)

That is strange the the current usage did not change when you changed the drop-down to the last 30 days, it definitely should have. Though the estimated value will constantly change over the course of your billing period as you utilize your project. It's just so you aren't shocked at the end of the month with a $20 bill Can you try doing a hard refresh, with that drop-down on last 30 days? See if it forces an update?

You mean just refreshing the page?

Here's a small demo

A hard refresh is when you hold the control key and press F5 But beings that you are looking at the observability dashboard, that data might be cached for a short period of time before updating

Ah okay. Just did that, same behavior I've just seen it increase to $4.00, so that seems to be updating, however that's the only value I can get to appear there (even with hard refresh)
