you need to explain much more about what this project is, what it's supposed to do, and what isn't working
it looks like you copied code from somewhere else that you don't understand
im trying to make a key system kind of thing for soemthing im trying to make its like a test project trying to get the feel of c# etc
what is a "key system"
like a lisence key system
to earn money

as in DRM?

well, that snippet is for a console app so it's not going to work if you copy and paste it into a windows forms constructor
i suggest starting with $helloworld instead
the website doesn't even really explain what this is, is this a url shortener that shows ads or something?
