Forge Server Installer Doesn't Create the Required Files
I've got the Forge installer, set it to install the server version, and all it spits out is run.bat, run.sh, and user_jvm_args.txt. Attemtping to run the bat file just says "Error: Could not find or load main class @user_jvm_args.txt
Press any key to continue . . ."
From what I've read online I'm doing exactly what I'm supposed to be doing. I've also ensured Java is up to date. No clue what I'm doing wrong.

well
it “Does”
someone asked me for help long while ago. here’s the method to find the unix args
I don't have any of the other files though, like not even eula.txt
No mods, no server properties, no config
that’s the main place
aka Main directory
the mods server prop eula are examples of where main would be
Okay but how does that factor into the issue
that’s the solution to you’re problem
go to the path in the screenshot and take the file and put it here
then launch
I fixed it, that wasn't related. Had to install a vanilla server in the directory and then run the Forge installer and run.bat.
