SatisfactoryModManager v3.0.0-beta.4 - Not correctly loading profiles.
As stated above, i cant load my profile that was created with the last stable release of the mod manager.
I dont know if this is a bug or not, ive re installed the latest stable versioon and it loaded my profile properly. I can supply more information if required.

I meant that profiles from the previous SMM2 install are converted to SMM3 profiles on the first SMM3 launch

SMM 2 profiles can't be imported into SMM3, although I think if you dump it in SMM2's profiles folder, SMM3 will be able to read it then and you can resave it
@Mircea is this accurate?
No, they are completely incompatible
SMM3 stores all profiles in a single file on disk, and exported profiles are a single json rather than a zip
so, we need a clear error message when trying to import an SMM2 profile into SMM3, it sounds like?
or is adding support for that part of the existing SMM2->SMM3 profile migration task I made the UI for but no logic for?
There's no profile migration to do
And yeah, I'll add a check SMM2 exported profiles. If it's a valid zip, it's not a SMM3 exported profile
Do you guys need my profile to re create the error ?
No, it's a known thing
Oh right ok, I think possibly having an error message that states about bringing over profiles.
If the profile you're trying to import is also yours, but from SMM2, it is already imported, but not selected by default (see the profiles dropdown on the left)
I thought you said that wouldn't work in reply to this message https://discord.com/channels/555424930502541343/1282778862496907385/1282783464818479236
Sorry about taking up anyone's time with this error , just thought I'd give you a heads up
you're good, it's something we need to add better handling for
I guess imported in my last message was the wrong term
Solution
I meant that profiles from the previous SMM2 install are converted to SMM3 profiles on the first SMM3 launch
But exported profiles are incompatible, so they can't be imported, or dumped into SMM's profiles in some other way
Anyone else have the issue with the launch game button needing to be pressed a billion times to launch the game?
Does it take a billion times for the game to launch via steam/epic? Smm just tells them to launch it
