Fit Check Imogene+Willie Henry Cut
I picked up some Imogene+Willie denim in the Henry cut. Black denim is size 31 lot 1. Indigo is size 31 lot 3. I think I am going to return the indigo. I like them, but the sizing is noticeably bigger compared to the black denim which I feel fit like a glove, especially once they loosen a bit. Looking for some opinions.

Both cuts are their relaxed fit, but I have larger thighs I have to size for. I feel like the black denim fits more like a straight tapered which I am looking for, indigo is truly relaxed.
Personally I like the fit of the indigo much better

Hm, appreciate the thoughts. I was reading to expect a little shrinkage when first washed. Wondering if that’ll make the indigo just right & the blacks too tight
black looks more like a slim taper imo, especially if it will shrink further
Yeah, not really sure what to anticipate. Should reach out to the company, on their website they say expect some shrinkage, but also a bit of stretch with wear

the folks at the nashville shop that i've interacted with are incredibly helpful. Wouldn't doubt that goes for the whole brand. Give em an email on what to expect for shrinkage and advice on stretch/sizing
but another vote for "those indigo ones look fantastic"
The difference in fit is pretty wild here, i might be curious if they expect the indigo to shrink a lot more , worth asking about
