Kingdom Creds
So im tryna buy some stuff in agent gears and saw stuff that costs way over 40k+ kingdom credits. I thought the max cap is 10k kingdom credits, how exactly do i even get more than that in order to buy that 40k if the limit is 10k

it stacks up the prices of the items before
so if the first is 2k and the second is 2.5k and the third is 3k -> if you look at the third without already having the first and second, it will display 7.5k
so youre saying
if the first item is 1k
and the second item shows 1.5k
its actually just first item + second item aka 1k + 500?
yes
why tf they gotta make it so confusing
you can buy every single item in the agent contracts, but just tier for tier, not all at once
valorant moment
thanks
that would be a great thing to ask schmick :p
@Riot Schmick Figured i might as well just ping you :cat_Happy_Smile: Since you got the agent grear thingy in your bio~
Is there a way to have a agent contract items blurred/greyed out, so that it´s more clear that the player has to buy every item seperately (instead of it displaying every price added up to 40k KC)?
THATD BE SO USEFUL
but it might confuse ppl
into thinking
they cant buy the rest?
it would be less confusing than 10k KC max but its 40k
i can ask our UI people about it
:Pog: thanks
@Pretty Princess Pierogi so i went and checked in game. the UI already indicates that you cannot buy the higher tier items until the lower tier ones are bought. there is a lock icon on them:
huh, why am i being pinged for this
gdit
wrong person autocompleted
was supposed to be @Pretty Princess GenZ⛧Ur Ult Orb
we do allow purchasing multiple levels as long as you have sufficient KC, so that is supported, like so:
and then if you select enough levels, it shows you have insufficient funds to purchase that many:
wait doesnt it say that if u just dont have enough money
even if the price is below 10k
yes, and you dont
you don't have 11K KC b/c it caps at 10K
and yes, it will say insufficient funds if you dont have enough funds to buy all the tiers you have selected
yeah so i think gen z meant like some indicator that you wont be able to buy more than the 10k amount
that's what the insufficient funds button is
fair enough
they mentioned graying out additional tiers to indicate that you have to buy each one at a time, but that's the thing. you dont have to buy one at a time.
we support buying multiple tiers at once so that folks don't have to click a bunch of extra times if they have enough funds to buy multiple tiers
yeah no you dont, genz mightve meant grayed out stuff that is after 10k max (smth more than insufficient funds?)
again, im assuming stuff i could be wrong
also omg i want your typing speed
hehe i type for a living
im so jelly
yeah, they probably did mean that, but i'm guessing our UX folks will state that insufficient funds already indicates that and they don't want to gray out the rewards themselves because they want it to be clear that you can click on them and view the reward, even if you can't buy it
that i type for a living?
no that i cant tpye as fast 😔
ah : P
skill issue
hey shush i can type way faster than you
yeah i mean i agree with the current ui
brb gnna wake up my sister with my loud ass keyboard for u
:kit:
:gr_peepostare:
holl up lemme try again
you can buy multiple tiers all at once though, as long as you have enough KC for the selected tiers. that's why the UI is why it is.
ez
only took me 5 tries
(or 10)
still damn 😭
IM STILL
PROUD OF MY SPEED THO
you should be
I'm just better at typing "gg have a nice night" after my comp
im good at screaming like a little child while my duo tells me to stfu
im good at flirting when someone start flaming me :val_HeyApple:
kek
let's not use this as gen chat tho
man u say that to me so much 😔
its funny when they get actually annoyed by it
jup
just thought it could be more clear. can be confusing for newish players when the KC are maxed at 10k but when looking at items its 40k to unlock
technically self explanatory, but it could be easier to understand
i cant think of any way it would be easier to understand without causing other issues with understanding the UX
