Plex - path breaks widget, no path breaks ping status
Pretty much what I said. I had originally had /web/index.html#!/ in my path for my Plex config. And with pings turned on I was green.
Then I added the media player widget, it didn't work, I read the troubleshooting page, and removed the /web/index.html#!/. Which caused the media player widget to work again.

Hi yes just add 401 in the accepted ping response
Solution
under the network tab of the app
That did it. Thanks!
Yeah plex doesn't like that address and our current system doesn't allow for paths.
it returns 401, meaning it is alive, it's just not happy with the call. if it were down it would return 404 or 5xx
Sure. Coolio, thanks.
