Do I need to rename all template refs from `ref` to `templateRef` now with vue 3.5?

No, you don’t need to per-se. templateRef is a helper, not a replacement, of the traditional way of referencing dom elements. However, understanding why it exists might give you a reason to start slowly replace them all.
