my ping is extremely weird and i frequently get spikes up to 40k ping

Ok so there is a lot of spam here, whats the general problem you having. Spikes in latency while you playing on wifi ? When did this started. 12ms to your home network is bad btw
Dont worry about the ISP routing until you have your home network 100% sorted
If its necessary to play on wifi only thing you can do is to try to improve it. but it never be as good as physical cable connection. Check surroundings wifi channels, if you are using 2.4ghz then generally avoid channels where people already have their presence. There are few apps in store that can look through the channels for this
Worse case try 5ghz wifi most of the modern isp routera have this build in already

yep np, routing looks optimized enough, we are directly learning their routes in MegaIX Sydney so thats the best path possible, no hops between. getting average around 40ms which is fine for New Zeland <-> Australia Sydney. your spikes are mostly caused by your wifi man, there is no workaround you have to get a cable to get a stable connection
