Grailed - tips & tricks for a first time user
I want to buy a varsity jacket ($$$) I absolutely love on Grailed. This jacket is not sold on any other website, used or new - there is only 1 seller on Grailed. I have never bought anything on Grailed so I would like all the advice this community can give. What information should I get from the seller before proceeding? I will ask about the condition the jacket is in (if it is damaged/stained in any way), the precise measurements and the shipping. Any other thing I should know? Thank you for your help.

What brand is it? It might be something that gets widely faked which you have to look out for
Derschutze. It's been authenticated by Grailed.
Yeah it's pretty unlikely that there's fakes of that!
How should I negociate the price?
Send an offer. Don't lowball
Is 80% of the listed price a correct offer?
80% of listed is fine IMO.
Especially if it's expensive
Offering 80% of something that's like 30 bucks is just lame
Do you have other advice regarding anything else?
Pay using PayPal or a credit card for added protection. Know your import taxes/duties/restrictions if buying internationally.
Also just make sure they list shipping to your locationbefore making an offer or purchase
Ask if you aren't sure
A lot of American sellers won't ship outside of the US
Advice for negotiating, offer 60% at first. If the product is super niche, expensive, or hasn't sold in multiple months, use those as arguments for extra power. Usually the seller will then agree upon 70-85% depending on your luck. If you are really lucky, they agree to 60%. If you start out with 80%, you will usually end up at 90%.
Also make sure you know what sort of taxes you are paying. If your seller is in the US and shipping is pricy, suggest them to use pirateship which offers significantly better rates (like half the price).
If you offer me 60% I am blocking you
yeah excellent advice on how to get blocked
