Disproportionate reactions afaik are very rare to come in exams apart from the ones you need in battery and same others. Dw much . Idk much but just to help you cope with not knowing!

Give me a compound to calc the oxidation number as it will be easier to tell it with example And disproportionate reaction is nothing but the same element in the reactants side goes under both oxidation and reduction :]

Disproportionate reaction main ek hi element oxidise aur reduce hota hai...and n factor is nred*noxidation/nred+noxidation
RDES
RDES•5mo ago
Disproportionation is a type of chemical reaction wherein the same element is oxidized and reduced. n factor in this case is red*oxi/red+oxi Like Nitrogen dioxide and water
