People I see on tiktok

Hold on let me see if I can find someone
only issue to me is this feels like 'clothes' rather than an actual fit
I don't know how to dress man
i don't you or your tastes enough to say whether you're doing something well or not.
I live in bulgaria
It's just the way people dress
But I can tell that I don't dress good
I just don't know how to fix it
okay what specifically is bad about the way you dress
The clothes
the colors, the sizes, the style...?
I guess the colors
dressing well is just putting shit on. If you see someone else doing something you like then start doing the same thing. If you post some pics of fits you do like we can give you some recs for brands to check out.
"how to dress" is gonna look different to you, me and everyone else reading this thread so it helps to get a sense of what you like
I guess I really like how
Kanye dresses
before not now
or asap rocky
Bro I am begging you to just use pictures
Alright hold on mb
pics would help - check #waywt or #inspiration or tiktok or ig

With these too
have you ever heard of
opium style
yes
i think you should try to dress opium
or skater
this is my fit
No
i dress opium
that’s not opium
this is
opium is basically just black clothes
oh ok
just try to put black clothes on
black fits everyone
Ok
also
have you heard of playboi carti
yes bro he's popular asf
do you listen to him
whats that gotta do with the outfit
No
once you start listening to him
your fashion game will change
forever
you will instantly be opium
How is my fashion game gonna change from listening to rappers
well he raps about designer clothes
you will learn a whole bunch of new brands
this is shit advice
Hey
and honestly
What’s going on in here
hey baby
I need help to dress better
you told me your parents took your phone
but now
you’re here
why’d you lie to me
And@prince is telling me to dress opium and listen to playboi carti
hell yeah
To give you something to work with: youre looking for wide, relaxed fit bottoms and oversized drop shoulder tops. You can wear only black all you want, but if the cut is wrong you're still just going to be wearing clothes.
Like that's gonna help
Alright that’s enough
personally i think we should all get nakey
okay thanks
no clothes no problems
Can you be normal?
but would they fit me in not really tall
Do you have a budget per item?
Not really I work construction
measurements
Plenty of fashion mfers are 5'4" and under don't worry about your height
Guess what
Your height isn’t really a problem usually for fits.
what what?!?!?
what is italy shaped like @prince
height isn't an issue, you just want to find a relative length for you
a boot
Could you give a $$ amount max for how much you'd be willing to spend on a pair of pants? There are a ton of options out there for this style so I'd like to narrow it down.
Like 200-300
300
:timer: @prince has been timed out for 1 day. :timer:
Anyway
Moving on
lfg i finally timed it properly
@horizontal with that budget you have a lot of options
where can I find those clothes I don't really know where to look except thrift places
Does weekday ship to Bulgaria
are you cool with online shopping
thrift places might be a good option in fact
Yeah
Idk let me check
Thrifting is a great option for experimenting with new shapes materials and colors on the cheap
you may need to get a different size than what you're used to but that's okay
It does
https://www.ssense.com/en-us is a great resource for checking out designer clothes, and they ship worldwide. At your budget you're bound to find shit you like.
Alright thank you
Even just browsing and getting used to what things are called is going to be useful for you rn. You can't look for things you don't know the name of.
I am maybe the most terminally ssense pilled person here
I do not recommend blowing $300 on an article of clothing until you know what you like wearing and works together for you including the material color and shape
Ssense styling can be hit or miss, but there is definitely room to draw inspiration from
Alright I'll try to learn how they are called
Oh absolutely yeah take it slow and just use this as an opportunity to learn what you like
I would browse our WAYWT and highlights and inspiration channels to get a sense of what kind of things you like
people are generally good with answering questions in #waywt or #inspiration if asked fwiw
Alright
Thanks for the help
I'll try to dress better even if it's sloe
Slow
It takes a while
it can take time
I’m like 3 1/2 years in and I’m only mostly feeling good about what I wear most days
some would say it never ends
How long do you guys think it would take to get atleast a basic level of fashion sense
it can help to focus on a particular idea (ASAP rocky, random tiktoker) and working to getting closer to it
it depends
On what
having more money or more time or easuer access to resources will speed up the process but it takes time
There are a lot of factors, but you’re gonna get out of it what you put into it
Also
and the time is the important part, being used to put on certain clothes and living your life in them
Alright thank you I wanna start to dress simple but good atleast as a started since school is starting soon
Honestly just looking at clothes and thinking about what you like or dislike about a fit or an item is one of the first steps. Recognizing why something works or doesn't is a skill that you'll have to build, and a taste that you have to acquire for yourself.
I highly recommend finding designers you like, and searching the internet for their lookbooks and runway shows. You won't always find things you like, but they're great for inspiration and will help develop your taste.
Consume a lot of inspo from different sources
Runways, various instagrams and tiktokers and pinterests of different styles, here, Fruits magazine, popeye magazine, ssense styling, end styling, the how to breathe inspo albums, stuff from different decades, etc
Even Uniqlo gap weekday cos etc all have styling that you can learn something from
Even if that something is “this exists” or “this works together” or “I don’t think I want to wear that”
Alright
I also have 1 more fit if you guys wanna tell me if it's better or not
I had it on in the winter like 6 months ago
This angle is bettee
honestly i give it 1 week until you're completely Rick-pilled
What's thst
Richard Saturnino Owens (born November 18, 1961) is an American fashion designer from Porterville, California. In addition to his main line, Owens has a furniture line and a number of diffusion lines.
Richard Saturnino Owens was raised in Porterville, California. His parents are John (d. 2015)[2] and Concepción "Connie" Owens. His mother is Mexican.[3][4] Owens was raised in a conservative, Catholic household.[5] After graduating high school, he moved to Los Angeles, California to study art at Otis College of Art and Design for two years before taking pattern-making and draping courses at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College. This led to work in the garment industry, designing copies of designer clothing.[6] Owens then met Michèle Lamy, who at this time was well-known in the Los Angeles social scene and owned the "Lamy" sportswear brand.[7][8]
Oh you mean wear Rick owens
Rick Owens is a designer u should check out on ssense lmao. DRKSHDW is his more affordable line.
I know who Rick Owens is
@horizontal if you live around Sofia check out Luda Concept Store, their in-house line is pretty corny imo but they have a decent selection of darkwear/tech wear designers (including Rick) last time I was there
I don't wanna dress opium but I'll check it out
