Is this a problem of the server or a bug?
My ms in PUBG right now is 40 ms as the screenshots shows, but every time I queue to join a game, it estimates 30-40 seconds to match.
Everyone knows that when you have low ping it will match you almost instantly or under 10 seconds. I’m questioning why I’m getting 100+ ms when my ping in the settings clearly shows 40 ms?

Lobby and in match pings are two different things. So, you cannot consider your lobby settings ping (your ping connecting to the nearest local server) as your in-game ping (your ping connecting to the servers of PUBG MOBILE).
When you are in match making, it will connect you to the nearest server of the location that you are currently residing in, and with other players that are currently in match making or players from further location to start a match as soon as possible. Therefore, there is a chance that you can get different pings each match....

This happens on and off btw, one week it’s fine and is performing at the displayed ping and other weeks it’s not and is lagging.

Thanks for the answer Nadia, also just another question:
Does PUBG normally switch the location of servers in timed intervals, for example, every second week so other players can have a better experience? Last week it was connecting me to servers closer and I had my normal optimal ping and then this week it seems to switch to a further server.
