its starting to work a bit but this is happening
can you try setting your vanilla render distance to something low like 4, and turn cpu load up in dh's settings, then wait for a bit?

4 gb is quite low. try 8

then you can probably not allocate more than 4 gb to minecraft
yeah i dont have a big pc
you dont need to have a big pc to have more than 8 gigs ram
so is that the problem
a part of the problem
that you have 8 gigs of ram also tells me you probably dont have the most modern cpu
so youll have to wait a long time for chunks to be generated
but it will still work
