Second Suit
Trying to figure out what next suit color I should get.
I currently have a black suit. I usually wear it for more formal events. I'm trying to buy another suit for work (I go to court for work, go to conferences, general office wear). Is charcoal too close to a black suit for a second suit? I generally like how it looks over a navy suit or gray, but I'm worried it just seems redundant when I already own a black one.

Grey looks good, with charcoal it really comes down with the suit material I’ve seen a lot of good charcoal but also seen some that are too shiny or too faded. I have a charcoal suit
Holy shit it’s Chinese Jesus
Anyways in America black is usually too formal for basically everything except for weddings/funerals, charcoal would be appropriate for normally formal stuff like the office or job interviews
I’d get a charcoal suit in your case cos it’d fill the roles you need it to and it sounds like you’d like one of them already so go for it!
Charcoal will be fine and much more versatile than black
