Iris and Sodium is still in beta. There's definitely a mod in your mod list that's incompatible with the beta version.
yeah you need to replace sodium with the 0.6 one

looks like we're going down a rabbit hole
thats what i expected
so.... what do i do
replace that too?
gimme one sec
im using modrinth
nvidium doesnt have a sodium 0.6 version yet, so you need to disable it for now
You definitely need to go through the Thanos Method™️ to get rid of mods that aren't compatible with the beta version of Iris.
it says i need to unlock some instance
yeah
also i got a general question
That, or downgrade Distant Horizons to 2.1.2-a and use the current release of Iris.
i wanted to recreate the cool elytra thing with shaders flying
and im using terralith for that
is that a good mod for it?
let me try that
With the right mods, yes. However, Terralith is only a world gen mod.
im using terralith and teracore i think
You need the mod Do A Barrel Roll for the fancy elytra camera thing.
yeah i got that also
nvidium doesnt like sodium 0.6.0
i found that out the hard way
ok so
Cool then. After removing most of incompatible mods, everything should be set.
now its saying that
i gotta downgrade everytinh
ill sent the eror thingy

you have 2.1.2
not 2.2.0
i downgrade iris right
if you want to use 2.1.2 yes
if you want to use 2.2.0 no
ok
well
i tried loading the world
and it instantly crashed
should i just make a new one?\
no, send the crash
it doesent send a crash report
just says saving world
then send a log
and closses the game
How to get crash reports and logs
It is highly advisable you upload your crash reports and logs to https://mclo.gs/ then share the link in Discord for easier reading and censoring potentially sensitive information. Otherwise, you can drag and drop the file directly into Discord.
Crash reports can be found in the crash-reports sub-directory in .minecraft on clients, or the crash-reports sub-directory of the server directory for servers. We're probably interested in the most recent file.
Logs can be found in the logs sub-directory in .minecraft on clients, or the logs sub-folder of the server directory for servers. We're probably interested in the file named latest.log.

yo it works
ty a lot guys
yo @IMS im using shaders
for this
and i have to wait a while
for it to load right
for DH? yes
im using shaders for DH
and when im flying around the chunks behind me just unload
yeah, you'll need to wait
bump up CPU Load in DH settings to speed it up
thing is
i loaded all these chunks with chunky already
you didn't load them when DH was on, and you didn't explore them
DH needs to visibly see the chunk to make a copy of it on servers
yeah i get that
but when i go out of that chunk and go a couple chunks forward
the chunk i was in gets unloaded
and when i turn off shaders
i can see the whole world again
like 2k blocks out
are you using a supported pack?
nvm
i figured it out
lol
ty for helping
@SWORDSMENPLAYZ are you playing on 1.20.1 perchance?
1.21 but I fixed everything
So u guys can close this thread now
You can leave it open so that people can add comment if they need help. Use @Answer Overflow to mark your answer as solved would be best.
i have the same problem but with 1.20.1
IMS tried his best to help, but like sword, every version conflicted with something. i swear i spent like 2 hours trying to find the right versions
