Level Infinite, publisher, and LightSpeed Studios, developer, are both under Tencent. So Tencent was never gone.

What do you mean by that? PUBG MOBILE is owned by Tencent Games. Level Infinite, established in 2021, is Tencent Games overseas publishing brand.
Solution
Level Infinite, publisher, and LightSpeed Studios, developer, are both under Tencent. So Tencent was never gone.
