Are you using any resource packs and is there any chance that you could get a clearer screenshot becaues that screenshot is very pixelated
no pack, i will try and get a better ss when i get home
also i think that’s the best res i can get
i’ll zoom in tho
idk why it would matter cus u can see the problem without
Yea I can see the issue but it is very hard to read what mods you have
He/she has starlight that's all you need to know
discord compressio a b
my gpu is a rx 6800xt
i think that is relevant
That isn't but if you could please remove starlight and try load your world up again
i will try that
didnt fix same issue
still have these dark chunks too
Try with a new world or delete the lod data of the current world
ok working on it
If u had starlight at some point when lods were generating removing it later won't fix it
im using some crazy ahh world gen mods i was pregenerating chunks and the game crashed due to lack of VRAM
so far it looks good ill update u in like half an hour
Don't use chunky and dh at the same time btw
MINECRAFT TOOK ALL 16GB of vram
/swisscheese
Chunky is known to cause LODs to turn into swiss cheese and bloat up world size, as can be seen in the attached screenshot.
We recommend you enable "Distant Generation" in Distant Horizons' settings and wait.
If you actually want to pre-generate vanilla chunks along with LOD data, disable Distant Horizons, wait for chunky to finish, then re-enable Distant Horizons.
oh yeah ur right
that makes sense
Dude what's your render quality
so i need to disable the jar before launching mc??
Yep
wym?
Detail level
oh per block
Is it extreme
yeah
another reason why i should disable DH when pregenerating
its cuz i was messing around with dh and shaders at some point but its defo unessessary now
Solution
removing starlight worked thank you
anyone seeing this the worldgen mods are reterraforged, WWOO (modified jar), dungeons and taverns, and towns and towers
