Shorts
Hi guys! For context I'm 24 and I'm in Australia! I don't wear shorts and tbh I want to try them for the first time! All I wear is long pants generally for both work and casually and was wondering if anyone had recs for shorts that would be good to try for a first-timer? Therefore, not too short if that makes sense?

Don’t go for anything expensive as a first time shorts user, I suppose.
Chino shorts are the classic, you can get those at Uniqlo for cheap, they come in a Christian inseam length, not many bells and whistles.
Then if you want to you can also try more „active“ leaning shorts - those would be the geared shorts at Uniqlo.
There’s also some drawstring options if you’d prefer that.
Now if you don’t mind going second hand, you’ll find cheap offerings for Ralph Lauren shorts aplenty. Those will mostly be you regular chino shorts. Take your pick really.
This is helpful! I think I've always struggled with which style to go for and it seems "chino shorts" are the standard basic option which can be dressed up or down. I am a bit self-conscious about above the knee but good to know they're not too short!
Depending on how long your legs are they might hit just a touch above the knee, but I wouldn’t worry too much!
Ok I'll look into some, all I wear is cargo pants so my shorts knowledge is limited 😅

Thanks! Friends of mine wear these and they look pretty good!
