FSR in Gamescope doesn't work
When using HGL or even when launching it from the command line, gamescope won't be able to display anything if I enable FSR scaling.
When I try from Bottles it won't even launch anything saying that my card doesn't support vulkan.
I've had this issue for a few months, but I've started gaming more lately and would like to be able to use FSR again.

when I run Steam inside Gamescope (still nested under KDE in order to work around #1180) any game I launch launches in an invisible window this is ever since updating to the latest tag release http...
I havent been able to reproduce that issue recently. (though lately I only play in steam game mode and not on desktop)I just tried
and it works fine.
you can also try the SDL backend
as this only happend on the wayland backend
yeah, that seems to work for now. I mostly wanted to use it with the steam client though, and that doesn't work with the sdl backend.
I can still get it to work with each game individually, so good enough I guess.
is what I used to use to launch steam insede of gamescope nested inside KDE
then any games I ran would upscale with fsr
weird, when I tried it, it didn't launch properly.
I used different settings though, I'll test it out a bit more later tonight
Keep in mind this was back when I was using Garuda never tried running steam like this in bazzite.
-e was the option I needed.
It's working with the --backend sdl flag
lol, just noticed it's you on the github page. Sorry for the pointless reply
No worries glad you got it working
I need to test an actual game with gamesope on desktop mode to see if I can't reproduce the issue
So far I haven't just running vkcube in a terminal
Make sure that it's using fsr and is scaled up, have it running in a window and then maximize it.
