Looking for Versatile Office Footwear: Need Suggestions!
I’m looking to upgrade my office wear and move away from jeans. Currently, my outfits mostly consist of polos and plain jeans or solid round-neck tees with jeans. I'm planning to buy some trousers to mix things up and move to more formal style.
My current sneakers are from Nike, which have a very sporty look and don’t quite fit the office vibe. I’ve also considered white sneakers, but I’m worried about them getting dirty since I commute via a two-wheeler.
Can anyone suggest versatile footwear that would work well with round-neck tees, polos, plain jeans, and cotton trousers?.
Since i'm currently based in india the model which you suggest might not be available here however if you could mention the name of shoe style / link me the sample image link it would be easy for me to search a similar product

Brown penny loafers.
Brown moc toes of some kind (boat shoes, ranger moc, camp moc).
Brown (suede?) derby.
I’m always a fan of a dressy kinda boot. Personally I prefer taller styles as opposed to chukkas but you do you. I have a pair of Chelsea zipper boots but lace up boots are great too.
In the summer time, picking a linen trouser or seersucker and paired with dressier sandals like Birkenstocks or huarache sandals, or loafers with no show socks would be nice.
Since you mention commuting via two wheels I think boots would be best though given the ability to be stylish/safer for your feet.

Something like that is (imo) a good blend of style and usefulness. For your specific commute style
If you take care of it, it’ll last a while and you can always resole it if that’s an option to you
WRT shoes getting dirty, if you have a secure enough space at your office you could keep some footwear there and change in. My mom commuted for many years to a job with a strict dress code, she wore sneakers on the subway but would change into dressier shoes when she got to the office.
Maybe brown and black leather sneakers with white soles? Can look at Common Projects for inspo.
Do you think this will work?
That’s an dress upper with a sneaker bottom, so is a “dress sneaker”. Some people are really against those. Search “Derek Guy dress sneaker” for example.

If you have mobility issues, you should wear what's comfortable for you. However, many people think that traditional leather shoes are uncomfortable simply because they don't know much about shoes. 🧵

Since you’re wearing Nike’s right now and are going to be wearing jeans and basic chinos/trousers, you could go for a minor evolution and wear a simple tan, dark brown, or black low top sneaker.
I also agree with the suggestions above to think about loafers or some sort of boot, like a chukka or a moc toe. Also a good option and not too formal.
Hey, thanks for the suggestions! I’m leaning towards derby shoes because I plan to incorporate more trousers into my wardrobe and move away from jeans. Could you recommend some derby models that would complement my usual outfits? I’m a bit unsure about how they’ll fit with my style since I don’t have any boots and feel a bit underconfident in choosing the right ones. Sorry for the detailed request!

And below are my outfit most of the days with switching colors on polos/pants/round necks
What brands are available where you live?
I live in india, So Clarks, Hush Puppies, woodland, rapa walk etc
Clarks desert boots would be great with those fits!
this?
That’s the style. The suede ones are the classic option, but I would go try some on and see what you like and what fits.
sure! will do that
thanks!
