Cannot purchase zero trust plan
I'm trying to "purchase" the free plan for for zero trust to test/demo CF on a personal account to see if it is a good fit for my company.
Trying to purchase the free plan fails with both paypal and visa. I tried in incognito, I tried recreating my billing address, deleting and re-adding credit cards, etc.
Chrome devtools show 500 error code for POST to
.../subscriptions
and response 'errors : [{code: 1000, message: "Internal Server Error"}]'
.
I've created a ticket 01037145 but this didn't show in my tickets list. Since then the tickets list now just redirects me to https://developers.cloudflare.com/support/account-management-billing/cannot-locate-dashboard-account/?ErrorCode=41&ErrorDescription=Execution+error&ErrorDetails=DML%3AInsert+failed.+First+exception+on+row+0%3B+first+error%3A+UNKNOWN_EXCEPTION%2C+portal+account+owner+must+have+a+role%3A+%5B%5D
where I am told to free accounts can't view tickets or something?
This issue (and seeing others with tickets that have been waiting for months) is somewhat putting me off recommending CF ZT...5 Replies
hmmm, so the underlying thing here though is you made a billing ticket and you can't access it? I would create a "Can't access Cloudflare Help Center My Activites" ticket has described on that page, your billing ticket should still be in queue afaik even if you can't access it
Underlying issue was "purchase" button didn't work - a ticket was created for that issue and inability to access the ticket is a second issue (there was an advisory saying the ticket system was undergoing changes).
I solved the first issue by instead of "purchasing" the $0 option purchasing the $3/user/month option then cancelling renewal.
Purchase button is still broken for $0 plan though, and I want to add a second user for my demo... which I cant do because I only have one seat now
It's been said that the $0 'purchase' is part of either a random or systematic fraud mitigation. I know that doesn't help 🙂 but I thought I'd share.
Is there any method to get real support here? The ticketing system is broken, discord support can't help with billing anyway, emails are ignored.

I'm an indian user trying to purchase it through paypal (purchase using credit cards is not possible for indian cards)
