faster chunk generation with aggresive than paid for whole cpu?

How did you measure if one is faster than the other?
That's a 4-core CPU, tooltip on the CPU Load setting says those settings will be less effective on CPUs with 4 or fewer cores.
Aggresive is just better since ipaidforthewholecpu basically just gives the cpu no break
