Color for Dress Casual Sneakers
I want to get a pair of dress sneakers to wear with outfits for when I go on dates. I usually wear my brown oxfords or brown leather boots, but those aren't great in the summer and seem a bit much after the 2nd date.
I asked some friends for advice on color choice. Some of them say pick all white while others say go with brown or tan. Which color would be more versatile and give a nicer appearance if I wanted to give off a dressed up look even with my casual outfits? I'll also take other sneaker recommendations over the Cole Haan Grandpro Tennis. I chose it because it seemed like a good price and quality.

I think loafers would fit what you’re looking for a lot better than dress sneakers
Out of the three you linked the white are the best but still not very good imo
If you really wanted white tennis shoes Stan Smiths are pretty good, so are Vejas or Converse
If you want shoes that are slightly dressier than sneakers (white sneakers aren’t really dressier than other sneakers tbh) but not stuffy I’d def recommend loafers though

dress sneakers try to be both dress shoes and sneakers and the result just looks weird and bad unfortunately
Thanks! Any suggestions for loafers? Either brand or style. A quick Amazon search and tbh they all look similar to me.
the style is one of personal preference - there's less obvious details (a tassel vs a metal bit vs the penny slot of a penny loafer, for example) that you might be fond of

I'm deciding between these two from J Crew because they're cheap. One has the more traditional sole, but I haven't seen the other style before. The description says it's a driving loafer.
