Jackets
Going to a new school with no uniform and i need some jackets. I was currently thinking a sweatshirt (I prefer the fit over the baggy hoodie) and a midweight jacket (Got a waterproof one). Has anyone got any recommendations for the colour of sweatshirt (currently thinking navy as that adds a bit of colour while looking good with denim) and the jacket. I mostly wear white t shirts and blue jeans with black and white shoes.

Well. Regarding the color thats really a question of taste.
I will say that navy sweater on blue jeans might be a bit low-contrast and therefore a bit samey.
Personally if you want to add a bit more color I would go with something not blue.
navy and a heather grey for the sweatshirts
with a navy sweatshirt, blue jeans and black/white shoes you can wear most colors of jackets on top imo
if you wanted something more straightforward and versatile then imo i would choose black or olive green or tan
if you wanted something more bold then red or orange could also work,
Thanks for the suggestions thinking of getting this grey/light purple colour (can get a 100% wool one that looks good quality for 17 quid) and an olive jumper then not sure what jacket type/colour should i go with (gonna be second hand)
