How to get leather/suede to smell better?
I found this V Italian suede jacket full of spiderwebs while hiking. I took it home and cleaned it up with compressed air and soapy water. It still smells a little bit. Is there any way to improve the smell of my jacket?

The smell isn't that bad, you can't really tell unless you're wearing it
I'm not really looking to drop a ton of money on a jacket I found in the wilderness
The smell is actually improving as it's drying, maybe the problem will fix itself? pics of clean jacket
Sunfading is so nice on that
If it still smells musty you can either keep it in a garment bag with a vinegar soaked paper towel at the bottom or spritz it with vodka
Just test on a non visible area first
Thanks! Having a jacket that smells like vodka might be sus but it's worth a shot lol
Being outside for weeks or months in the SoCal sun will do that lol
You want to really just barely mist it with the vodka so it should all evaporate away haha
