first, please explain why you need a static outbound ip for wordpress?
second, we do! https://docs.railway.app/reference/static-outbound-ips
oh sry, I mean inbound
for setting up the CDN for the website
why does that need inbound?
the CDN setup I'm looking at needs a source IP
... why?
Idk, this domain host ask for it 🤣
... use a different CDN? never heard of needing a static inbound ip
oh wait, I found a hidden option that allows domain as source🤣
there ya go!
quick follow up question, I have 2 custom domain (www and @) bind to my service, how do I change the RAILWAY_PUBLIC_DOMAIN to the www one
i think it goes off what was added first, but in 2024 why do you need www lol
hum, good point, guess I can just ditch www
for sure
to be sure, domain -> CDN cname -> railway cname?
can you say what cdn you are using?
Tencent Cloud (I hate it too, but no refund)
possibly? never setup that cdn
*sight, gonna switch to cloudflare once it expire
good choice
