1.21.1 fix i need 1.21 but i cant find the version in iris
i was about to restart minecraft that i was playing on 1.21 when i couldnt start the game i uninstalled 1.21 so i could redownload it again but then i see that theres only 1.21.1 not 1.21 is this error or is this intentional because half of my mods dont work

Nevermind, i found the issue in my end, the last problem is, where can I get the latest Distant Horizon mod, or is it even out yet
you can either play on 1.21 with the latest versions of both Iris and DH or you can play on 1.21.1 and edit the fabric.mod.json inside the DH jar

it's a simple fix. Basically inside fabric.mod.json there's going to be a Minecraft version dependency listing version 1.21. YOu can change it to 1.21.x to make it compatible with all minor versions of 1.21
I don't see why they don't just push a quick update doing this fix but eh

Okay i manage to change the version but i have another little issue,
If i remove Iris 1.7.3 i won't be able to use shader or am I wrong ?
you're using the nightly build of DH, which doesn't work with stable iris. Support for 2.1.3 was added in alpha 4 in #unstable-releases

no problem! don't forget to allocate enough ram for DH so it doesn't stutter or crash. 6-8 gb is recommended

as i have the same issue i'll just ask the question here, which dh version do i use and do i edit the iris jar fabric.mod.json or the dh jar with winrar?

and i use iris fabric 1.21?
