DH refuses to render LODs underwater
Was excited to see how DH would render a warm ocean underwater since the server I'm playing on only has a Render distance of 16, only to be firmly dissapointed seeing it cut off the entire point of the mod the second I go underwater. This applies to looking through glass as well. Any fixes?
Yes, I've tried transparency options. None work.

Can you disable fog and see if that makes a difference
DH fog I mean
Under advanced, graphics, fog
Right after I posted this, it decided to somewhat work under the condition that all my LODs are fully lit.
Hhmm that's weird
I'm not sure about that
I'm also using Vanilla Tweaks with clearer water on, and it's non-negiotable for me to have that because minecraft's vanilla water (or with Bare Bones) is basically opaque
You could at least temporarily turn it off to see if that makes a difference
Before / After
(the LODs are still fullbright)
Nup
Also happens with shaders
Do you have any mods that affect lighting?
Can you share your mods list?
Not that I know of, I don't have starlight
Does the server you're playing on use paper?
Yup
Paper includes starlight's features, so that would be the only thing I can think of that would cause this
But I do think that would be unlikely
this is 1.21 i thought starlight was redudant past 1.20
i could try on a singleplayer world to check
It can matter a bit on large servers
Alright
just tabbed back in to check it renders fine at nighttime..?
Oh lol
That's weird
only daytime causes fullbright LODs ig
didnt render all the LODs, but i think its fine on singleplayer
so it could be a paper thing
but the first issue of LODs straight up not rendering underwater fixed itself, then this other one is partially fixed with nighttime
